We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Cultural Heritage & Nature Interpreter to guide visitors through Yamunanagar, the “Gateway to Himachal,” located along the sacred Yamuna River and the Shivalik foothills. Blending Vedic heritage, industrial excellence, and natural beauty, Yamunanagar offers a rich and diverse experience for travelers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead heritage and eco-tours to Adi Badri, Kapil Muni Ashram, Kalesar National Park, and Hathni Kund Barrage.
  • Share engaging insights on the Saraswati River legacy, temple traditions, and Yamunanagar’s plywood and paper industries.
  • Interpret wildlife, forest ecosystems, river biodiversity, and seasonal landscapes.
  • Assist during festivals and pilgrimage seasons, ensuring smooth visitor flow.
  • Coordinate basic tour logistics and maintain high standards of visitor safety.
  • Promote sustainable tourism and environmental awareness.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Vedic history, Haryana’s culture, and Shivalik biodiversity.
  • Excellent storytelling and public speaking skills.
  • Fluency in Hindi & English (Haryanvi/Punjabi preferred; additional languages a plus).
  • 2–5 years experience in guiding, tourism, heritage, or environmental education.
  • Certification from Tourism authorities is an advantage.
