We are looking for a professional, safety-conscious, and reliable Driver to join our team in Yamunanagar, the “Gateway to Himachal” known for its industrial strength, spiritual sites, and proximity to the Shivalik hills. You will be responsible for providing safe and comfortable transportation for corporate staff, guests, tourists, and logistics operations within the city and nearby regions.
Key Responsibilities
Operate vehicles responsibly, strictly following traffic rules and highway regulations, ensuring passenger safety at all times.
Plan efficient routes for city travel and outstation trips to destinations such as Chandigarh, Dehradun, and Himachal routes, ensuring timely arrivals.
Conduct daily pre-trip inspections (fuel, oil, coolant, tire pressure, brakes) and maintain the vehicle in clean and presentable condition.
Greet passengers politely, assist with luggage, and provide basic local guidance when required.
Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and ensure all vehicle documents (Insurance, PUC, RC) are valid and updated.
Practice defensive driving, especially during monsoon and fog seasons, and ensure complete passenger security.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Permanent Driving License (LMV/HMV as applicable).
- Strong knowledge of Yamunanagar’s routes, industrial areas, and nearby highway connections.
- Fluency in Hindi (knowledge of Haryanvi/Punjabi preferred); basic English is an advantage.
- Punctual, disciplined, and honest with a clean driving record.
- Ability to handle minor vehicle issues and use GPS/navigation apps.
Experience
- 3–7 years experience as a professional driver for corporate offices, travel services, or private employers preferred.
- Familiarity with long-distance highway driving and hill-route conditions is an advantage.
