We are looking for a creative, skilled, and story-driven Video Editor to join our content team in Yamunanagar, the “Gateway to Himachal.” Your mission will be to craft compelling visual stories that highlight Yamunanagar’s unique blend of spiritual heritage, industrial strength, and natural beauty along the Yamuna River and Shivalik foothills.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for tourism campaigns, industrial showcases, spiritual events, and seasonal festivals.
Apply professional color grading, smooth transitions, engaging sound design, and multilingual text overlays (Hindi & English; regional language preferred).
Develop short-form videos (Reels/Shorts) featuring Adi Badri, Kalesar National Park, and local lifestyle, as well as long-form documentaries on heritage sites and industrial growth stories.
Work closely with photographers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive storytelling aligned with Yamunanagar’s identity.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously—from wildlife features and river landscapes to corporate and educational institution coverage.
Ensure content reflects local culture, traditions, and the balance of nature and development in the region.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree/Diploma in Video Editing, Mass Communication, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve; After Effects knowledge is a plus.
- Strong storytelling ability with a keen eye for rhythm, pacing, and emotional impact.
- Understanding of platform-specific formats (9:16, 16:9) and social media trends.
- Ability to subtitle and edit interviews in Hindi (knowledge of Haryanvi/Punjabi is an advantage).
Experience
- 2–5 years experience in video editing, preferably in tourism, documentary, industrial, or digital marketing sectors.
- Strong portfolio showcasing travel, heritage, or promotional content.
