We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and efficient Mechanic to join our service team in Yamunanagar, a growing industrial hub and key transit point connecting Haryana with Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand. The ideal candidate should have strong diagnostic abilities and hands-on experience handling private cars, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles operating on highways and intercity routes.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults across multiple vehicle brands, ensuring reliability for highway and city driving conditions.
Conduct regular servicing, oil changes, brake inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure safe travel on routes such as Yamunanagar–Chandigarh and Yamunanagar–Dehradun.
Identify and replace defective components using genuine spare parts to maintain optimal vehicle performance and durability.
Maintain detailed service records, job cards, and repair histories for individual customers and fleet vehicles.
Ensure a clean, organized workshop while following safety and environmental standards.
Clearly explain repair issues, cost estimates, and maintenance advice in Hindi (knowledge of Haryanvi/Punjabi preferred).
Qualifications & Skills
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Strong familiarity with brands like Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Tata, Hyundai, and Toyota.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic scanners, hydraulic lifts, and modern repair tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, physical stamina, and trustworthy work ethic.
Experience
- 2–5 years experience in multi-brand workshops, authorized service centers, or reputed garages preferred.
- Knowledge of BS-VI engines, CRDi systems, and modern vehicle electronics is an advantage.
- Experience handling vehicles used for highway and industrial transport is valued.
